Ability to create VPN connection missing in Network Manager

VLocity 7.1 (64-bit) B3

It appears the VPN module is not installed with the core. Installing via GSlapt gives the ability to create a connection, but upon attempting to connect to a VPN, the following error is received.

The VPN service 'org.freedesktop.NetworkManager.pptp' was not installed.
