Fix #28 @ VLCore/vinstall, and add fallback for missing device id's

Fixes #28.

Adds a fallback to use device path in 'boot=' line of lilo.conf. This is because on VMware, disk devices do not have an ID link. In that use case, the installer will force /dev/sd[a-z] for this value. Unique device ID is preferred when it is available.
