64-bit quick pics
I selected quick pics under "grahics" menu, chose to install Blender. The "Text View" window simply says "Reading Package Lists...Done", nothing more or less. I click the Close button. Then I get the "Information" window which says "blender can now be launched from the menu. Please let us know how this program works for you. Post under forum topic VL package news and Updates.". I click the OK button. No Blender in the graphics menu. Tried from command line, "command not found". So it's not installed
Seems Blender is not in the repository at this time. I wonder if the quick pics should read the repository first, then generate it's lists from there?

There is no problem using vl-qwik-picks in vl64bit, it is just a noarch bash script after all. The real challenge is putting enough applications in the vl64bit repository to make it worth while. Almost there. Check out this link to a google doc I created and you can see that the apps needed to give vl-qwik-pics the same range as it's 32bit cousin. https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AhePJCWbp3wRdDM4Vi1VUlpXall5WXFzc1g4dEVvUWc&hl=en_US#gid=0
