VL 7.0 Light Beta2 installer crashes...

Downloaded and burned (and of course md5summed and verified) Beta 2 just now and tried it on my Duron machine. The Installer crashed again during the "Searching for install media" as already the Beta 1 installer did. Exact hardware specs: 697 MHz Duron processor 384 MiB RAM IDE CD-ROM and IDE CD-RW, also 2 IDE HDs, 3½" and 5¼" floppy drives. Tried booting the CD on both CD drives; will try my Pentium 2 machine, on which Beta 1 works later.
