Following error shows in dmesg
2012-03-01 12:07:30 Synaptics claims to have dimensions query, but I'm not able to read it. 2012-03-01 12:07:30 Unable to initialize Synaptics hardware.
Touchpad works, but unable to turn it off with the following:
/usr/bin/synclient touchpadoff=1
Error recieved is:
Couldn't find synaptics properties. No synaptics driver loaded?
