Choosing 'Other" when labeling partitions crashes GUI installer

Choosing 'Other" when labeling partitions crashes GUI installer. I had already assigned / and /home but wanted to assign a non-standard partition name to /dev/sda7. I selected the partition, chose Other from the menu, and ended up at JWM with a menu and a blank screen.
