gnome-gdmsetup.desktop no prompt for gksu

Running gdmdesktop from start menu will not prompt for root password.

Need to edit below line in /usr/share/gdm/applications/gnome-gdmsetup.dekstop to work

Exec=gksu /usr/bin/gdmdesktop

I can't reproduce this. I click on menu -> type gdm -> select 'Login Window'. When I click on that it asks me for a password.

I did find a different problem though. Looks like both the gdm and vlconfig2 package are providing a gnome-gdmsetup.desktop file. But that will need to be filed and resolved in a different bug entry.

How exactly are you producing this error?

I test it from a fresh VM using the VL 7.2 A1.1 ISO install.
