• /usr/share/mime/packages/*
• /usr/share/mimelnk/application/*
• /usr/share/mplayer/*
• /var/log/pkgtools
• /var/log/scripts/GConf-dev-2.32-0-i586-3vl70

Adding to this that list

• usr/share/hdwata
• usr/share/gvfs/mounts/network.mount (should be moved to gvfs package??)
• usr/lib/mozilla/plugins (hardcoded path and this stuff should be provided by the mozill apackages themselves)
• etc/hal/ (hal?? thing has been dead for years... )
• etc/dbus-1/ (should be provided by the dbus package if needed)
• etc/pango - should be provided by the pango package if needed)
• etc/udev - should be provided by the udev package

This is a more complex task than it seems. I've already cleaned up some stuff off vlconfig2. To assist in this re-cleanup, i've uploaded the extracted contents of source packages to our gitlab instance. Those of you who wish to contribute to it can fork the main project there and issue a PR when your contribution is ready to be published.
