Xsane segfaults when trying to scan

Tested on 7.2 STD B1 32-bit VB and 7.2 Light B1 64-bit real hw, using two different USB scanners.

Xsane will capture a preview, but when I hit "Acquire", it scans until progress bar hits 100%, then segfaults.

Can you provide any kind out output from a terminal? If it just prints segfault and exits, try running it through strace and post any relevant output.

Learning about strace now.. in the mean time, here is what /var/log/messages shows:

A fix for this has been worked out here and confirmed to work on 64bit
