Installed vlc from repo, when trying to run:

$ vlc

The vlinit package is supposed to provide the rc.tmpfs file which is responsible for mounting tmpfs on /dev/shm on boot.

The vlinit package has been placing an empty rc.tmpfs file in /etc/rc.d. This problem was fixed on d2fceb1
