Advanced Potions

In my opinion, the current potion mechanics become boring, very quickly. My proposal is that
1. Potions become brewed using ingredients.
2. Potions found in chests have random ingredients.
3. Ingredient effects are randomized each game to promote replayability.
4. Some ingredients, not all, can be bought.
5. Potion tooltips show the ingredients it contains.
6. If the player has used an ingredient, the tooltip of the ingredient shows the effect.

I know it could be difficult to implement given the item system currently in the game. Maybe make a single item "Potion" and give it an attribute for the effects it has, or the ingredients it contains. I would also recommend a Brewing tab like the new Magic system. That could also store potions, such as a "Drink Potion" button or keybind. This could make differentiation in the inventory easier.
