Exception triggered by "bad end" fights crashes game

Former user created an issue

As it sounds. When the player loses to an enemy (e.g. a Slime) the game does not set an object for the transformation, throwing an exception that immediately crashes the game. This has consistently occurred for every single transformation that isn't triggered by a usable.

Version is the most recent commit ("sync"). Confirmed on other recent commits. The game is practically unplayable while this persists.
