Fusion Crystal changes character race to Faerie

When using Fusion Crystal, the character race changes to Faerie and the form stays unstable despite not changing over time. The item was used before on another character and it worked perfectly, but now even when loading that save file the item still turns into a Faerie. It is to note that the crystal only stopped working after I reached the Faerie floor on another save file, however it was not tested wheter or not it worked as intended on the floors immediatly before and after the Faerie floor.
