I backed out of the conversation with the faerie on Floor 13 instead of answering her question. Now she won't show back up and I'm stuck endlessly looping the floor.

I’m looking into this, after talking to the faerie the next step is triggered by the player opening a chest.

If there are no chests to open, the game should move on automatically.
