Ruby trap and saves

Former user created an issue

noticed an error that seems related to the ruby trap. Seems that when the trap was activated and then the game saved it would not allow to load but also played with the ability to save in multiple slots and noticed that each time would increase the skin darkness as if I had hit another ruby trap.
