    Я про лог ошибок движка. И почему ты установил движок с использованием mysql а не mysqli?

    К слову, проблема как раз в том, что механизм подключения используется устаревший. Ошибки исчезнут на версии PHP 5.3 и более ранних. Либо есть вполне удобное решение использовать механизм подключения MySQLi, который безопаснее и не устарел.

    Насчет mysqli: эту строку: 'db_method' => 'mysql' Заменить на это: 'db_method' => 'mysqli' ?

    Именно ее. И лог по умолчанию отключен, его надо включить чтобы он начал писаться
