Trigger Only On Changes to a Specified Branch

I'd like to trigger Jenkins, but only when the change happens to the master branch of my project (or other specified branch).

thanks for your enhancement request - sounds quite reasonable :-) I also though about this feature but didn't get to it yet, but with your request I am more motivated :-) Let's see how fast I can provide it.

sorry for taking so long... I finally got to working on the plugin:

I uploaded the plugin into the download section. I will run some more tests during the next week and will release it afterwards. If you feel like it, you can download it and have a try.
