Solving jenkins triggers on branch deletion while using the Bitbucket HTTP Request Post-Receive Hook

Having faced this issue myself and not finding a definitive guide on how to implement a fix, and seeing other people on the internet facing the same problem. I recently wrote an article detailing how to fix this problem by piecing together knowledge from different sources. I think it would be a great addition to the documentation if a link to my article was added to help people facing the same problem in the future.
