chat bugs

Issue #316 new
fabricio fernandes created an issue

many issues with the chat. first time i loaded in i wasnt able to use it. it wouldnt let me send messages. then it bugged and wouldnt let me exit the chat bar and go back into game. I was forced to restart and now chat works.
