Steam/shortcut doesnt work

I didnt really think it would work but i created a short cut to my desktop and added it steam it doesnt work

Hmmm, I just tried it and it worked fine for me. Silly question, but your desktop shortcut is the correct executable right (you can launch the client normally from it)?

edit Nevermind, I can use steam to open both the launcher/patcher and the straight executable to launch the game directly.

Try making a Non-Steam game from the executable directly. Not the shortcut. Haven't tried it yet as I really don't need a Steam shortcut.
