Bounding Box Annotator / Home

Welcome

Welcome to the wiki for the AAU VAP Bounding Box Annotator program.

Bounding Box Annotator is a tool for bounding-box annotation of objects in up to two different views. Annotations are stored in the coordinates of the first view and mapped to the second view by a homography.

The annotator is free to use under the MIT License.

For pixel-level annotations, please visit our Multimodal Pixel Annotator.

Sample dataset

If you do not have your own dataset, or just want to try the program on a small dataset, you can download a sample dataset here. The sample dataset contains both RGB and thermal images, as well as a don't care mask, a calibration file, and sample annotations of the vehicles in the scene. Make sure you follow the 'Getting Started' section in the introduction guide - this will help you configure the Bounding Box Annotator on the sample dataset.

Contribution guidelines

Please test the tool and see if it fits your purpose. If not, open an issue.
