Make Release date optional

hi, I love the Release Dog functionality however at the moment the Release Date is fixed which does cause us a bit of an issue, as we are trying to move forward with a more fluid dynamic release process. Would it be possible to make the Release date optional. Also would it be possible to add the Release Start date

I believe you can always update release date.

I know it is an old thread, but I would also vote :) , for changing the Release Date to an optional field, according to the Default Standard in Jiras Version Management. The second reason is: That I also get Builds to test that will never be released, because of Bugs.
