This wiki is intended to be used for specific use-cases of TagHighlight, showing the configuration steps necessary to set them up. Please feel free to add pages with examples: include a title, a short description of what you're trying to achieve and the specific settings that are required to get there.


  • TrivialConfig - A trivial configuration suitable for most users.
  • NoRecurse - A single directory to be scanned with subdirectories that shouldn't be scanned.
  • ExternalLibrary - Source code uses an external library that should also be highlighted.

Usage Survey

If you find TagHighlight useful, it would be really helpful if you could write some notes about your experiences (positive or negative) of using it and what configuration settings you use on the UsageSurvey page. This will help me to gauge what features have been worth implementing.


Tip: Filter by directory path e.g. /media app.js to search for public/media/app.js.
Tip: Use camelCasing e.g. ProjME to search for ProjectModifiedEvent.java.
Tip: Filter by extension type e.g. /repo .js to search for all .js files in the /repo directory.
Tip: Separate your search with spaces e.g. /ssh pom.xml to search for src/ssh/pom.xml.
Tip: Use ↑ and ↓ arrow keys to navigate and return to view the file.
Tip: You can also navigate files with Ctrl+j (next) and Ctrl+k (previous) and view the file with Ctrl+o.
