I go to side-tabs when the display is so scrunched I don't know which is which.

The common operation is then to close a bunch of tabs. Would rather do it right from the extension, so I don't need to click around so much.

I'm sorry, but I don't understand what the issue is ? There is a close button on the right of each tab which appears when you hover over the right side.

Ah! I had never seen it :)

it should probably show up when you hover anywhere on the tab, so that it's discoverable.

(Or you could mimic chrome's tabs with a permanent x that has a stronger hover treatment)
