What permissions does Roaming Call Control require and why does it need them?

  1. Process outgoing calls permissions are needed to read dialed phone numbers
  2. Call phone permissions are needed in order to abort dialed calls with local numbers and make new ones with their internationally correct version
  3. Internet and network state access permissions are required for Google AdMob and Google Analytics services
  4. Depending on the store Roaming Call Control is downloaded from there may be other In-app purchase related permissions.

Does Roaming Call Control store any personal information?

Roaming Call Control only receives the phone numbers dialed and modifies them to be correct considering the current and destination country. It does not store any of them. Also, in order to detect the current country you are in, Roaming Call Control uses only network information. Services like Google Analytics collect usage data (just as they do for any website you visit) and can be disabled in Settings.
