The configuration file format uses the name of the environment at the top level. The second level can contain two keys: values or inherits. Values contains the values for that environment, and can follow the normal yaml format in any way. Inherits defines which environment to inherit from.
You can use any environment name, but if the parser cannot find the named environment it will fall back to loading the environment named 'base'.

You may install YamlConfig with Composer:

Of course, a manual install is also an option.
