reporter You’re talking about the pipeline I suppose? The way I work is that I first make a crop, a square for example, then edit the result. So for me, and I suppose for some other users too, this (crop gone) is a bit disturbing…

repo owner - changed status to wontfix
it's not gone, it's just temporarily disabled while you edit the spots. Not something easy to change in the current implementation, so marking as "wontfix" for now

reporter Okay, once one understands this behaviour, the problem has gone. A thing to note in the documentation…

reporter I’m planning some more articles, but the point is - I’m lazy! The summer season is starting, this afternoon we’ll set up the little swimming pool in the garden and when that’s done, I’ll install myself under the fig-tree with an excellent book written by Salman Rushdie. So f*ck software !!

activate pencil and not only the crop has gone but also geometric corrections.
You have to deactivate the pencil to restore crop and geometric correction. The spots follow the movement.
I am not bothered by that.
edit: spot removal is done befor geometric coreection and crop.
