ART 1.7.1 crash on Windows 10 when emptying the queue while still generating thumbnails

Issue #155 new

Hi Alberto,

I found a way to always crash ART running on Windows 10. I do the following steps:

  • open a folder that has about 107 files (RAF Fuji Uncompressed files)
  • I opened one of them with the default profile and made some general edits (fixed WB, exposure)
  • I synced the profile with all the other files and than selected all of them and sent them to queue
  • Moving to the queue tab, I can see how the thumbnails are generated.

    • if I let all the thumbnails to update everything is fine
    • if I select again all (using CTRL+A) and press delete while the thumbnails are still updated, ART crashes. The console only shows ‘(ART.exe:12088): GLib-GObject-CRITICAL **: 13:14:11.618: g_object_unref: assertion 'old_ref > 0' failedSegmentation fault’

The steps 2 and 3 have to be done just the first time when one opens the folder. I will try at some point also with a debug version to see if I can get a meaningful stack.

Have a nice Christmass!

Daniel
