B&W image when viewing raw clipping in inspector

The picture turn B&W when I check for clipping in inspector. Similar thing happens occasionally when I use the brush tool. I am using the windows version 1.3 in Windows 10.

the inspector situation is by design. It turns black and white and shows clipped pixels in colour.
Regarding the brush, do you have “show mask” active perhaps? That also will show the image in gray-scale (and display the mask in yellow)
