Issue #77 new

05ca:1830 dosn't work!

rossinidan
created an issue

05ca:1830 dosn't work with debian and kernel 2.6.26-2-686

I performed the following tests:

The output of "lsusb" is:

Bus 001 Device 003: ID 05ca:1830 Ricoh Co., Ltd Visual Communication Camera VGP-VCC2 [R5U870]

debian:~# r5u87x-loader r5u87x firmware loader v0.2

Searching for device... Found camera: 05ca:1830 Camera reports positive microcode state. Camera reports microcode version 0x0100. Not doing anything - camera already setup.

Successfully uploaded firmware to device 05ca:1830!

debian:~# ls /dev/video* /dev/video0

If I restart ucvideo modules in /var/log/messages i have:

[ 4137.951711] ACPI: PCI interrupt for device 0000:06:00.0 disabled [ 4199.910233] usbcore: registered new interface driver uvcvideo [ 4199.910233] USB Video Class driver (v0.1.0)

If I launch xawtv I found in /var/log/messages the follow bug:

debian:~# tail /var/log/messages Sep 3 16:16:58 debian kernel: [ 4344.120539] ACPI: PCI interrupt for device 0000:06:00.0 disabled Sep 3 16:20:23 debian kernel: [ 4550.257201] ACPI: PCI Interrupt 0000:06:00.0[A] -> GSI 17 (level, low) -> IRQ 17 Sep 3 16:20:23 debian kernel: [ 4550.257221] iwl3945: Radio disabled by HW RF Kill switch Sep 3 16:20:23 debian kernel: [ 4550.257328] ACPI: PCI interrupt for device 0000:06:00.0 disabled Sep 3 16:23:48 debian kernel: [ 4756.271912] ACPI: PCI Interrupt 0000:06:00.0[A] -> GSI 17 (level, low) -> IRQ 17 Sep 3 16:23:48 debian kernel: [ 4756.271912] iwl3945: Radio disabled by HW RF Kill switch Sep 3 16:23:48 debian kernel: [ 4756.271912] ACPI: PCI interrupt for device 0000:06:00.0 disabled Sep 3 16:27:08 debian kernel: [ 4957.362156] ACPI: PCI Interrupt 0000:06:00.0[A] -> GSI 17 (level, low) -> IRQ 17 Sep 3 16:27:08 debian kernel: [ 4957.362592] iwl3945: Radio disabled by HW RF Kill switch Sep 3 16:27:08 debian kernel: [ 4957.362701] ACPI: PCI interrupt for device 0000:06:00.0 disabled
