Crash with feedback

Issue #72 resolved
Former user created an issue

Posting a feedback bug here that is reproducible. I'm not sure if the kind of patching is allowed in FrameLib, but Alex asked me to post it here to keep it documented.

The main patch to open is 'freezeback' which contains the stochasticFreeze as a subpatch. Turning audio on should crash it.

Ah - yes - testing against a version without asserts here by accident. The patch formation is not "legal", but you should get a nice error message, and probably no sound, rather than this result - I'll investigate further when the feedback detection isn't working.

Ah - can you confirm that the only feedback is the outer audio one? I can't really detect that. Eventually the crash will go away, but I need to think about whether detecting this issue is my responsibility.

Thanks - yes I detect feedback between framelib objects, but detecting MSP feedback is probably out of scope, so for now it's going to crash.

It's a non valid patch from an MSP perspective anyway....

Yes - but the crash is me crashing on purpose - that won't be in the final public build, and to sort this issue "more properly" is probably more hassle than it is worth.
