Issue #8 wontfix

Change in Functionality

Sravanthi Yendluri
created an issue

When we migrate the plugins, there is a check to see if the tables are already there or not. I think it is a good check but if the tables are already there, the migration is throwing an error saying that the tables already exist. Is the program checking if the tables exist and the columns are all the same? It will be very informational if we give a message saying the tables already exists and are identical for the ones that are going to be created and hence we are not making any changes to the database instead of throwing it as an error during the plugin migration

Thanks, Sravanthi

Normally migration tasks checkes the database schema. If the tables are already exists related to the migration version, migration task will be failed. I think the behavior is by design of Ruby on Rails.
