Implement authorization/authentication in a oauth form

Gustavo Gawryszewski
created an issue

Oauth is one the most popular (and very efficient) way of authentication applications today.

There are other frameworks implementing with Oauthlib which might seem a good option. What do you think?

The library you are referring seems to be over engineered, integration with web frameworks mentioned there is not simple as it stated. The single sign on idea mostly relates to web, thus browser centric implementation seems to be natural with javascript library only.

Take a look at a very simple example and few libraries here and here.

According to this list version 2.0 is in favor by most major providers.

Actually, what I meant was to create a simple way to offer an Oauth provider, not the client. The oauthlib provides both functionalities.

If you create a REST with wheezy.web, it would be good to be able to authenticate clients using oauth.

I'm working on Oauth2 provider on Wheezy. But I guess that will sit separately as wheezy.o2p. I will let you know once it's done.
