Backing out of video after resuming app into video causes app to close

"When I exit the app straight from a video (ie just hit the Home button), it loads back into the video I was playing, but if that video finishes and I back out (hitting the Back button), it just exits the app. Which is understandable since it probably only sees that the last step before the video plays is launching the app, but that would be a nice thing, if possible. To just go back to the menu on pressing back instead of exiting the app."
