Could not process file

I uploaded the project files and committed them to my repo. Setup the POST hook for my project, and when I push I get failed-commits in the commits folder. All of the information in the failed-commit file looks correct, however it's not updating the files.

The error when I run deploy.php?retry says "Could not process file failed-commit!"

Did you put 'verbose' => true in your config.php file? If not, can you do it and try again? Also, does the error_log say anything interesting?
