TextFilter buttons not shown

I have the problem, that none of the filtering buttons are displayed, but maybe I do not undestand correctly, how TQF works …

I am on TB 78.7.1 (64-bit) freshly updated on Linux Mint 20.1. I created a new profile and installed TQF 6.2. from the downloaded .xpi file.

When I click on the TQF in the main toolbar, the TQF toolbar opens. There I tick some fields in "Text filters" (see screenshot, where "Sender", "Recipients" and "Subject" is ticked). I can also select the "Recepients" button there. Now how I understand it, ticking a filter should show that filter as toolbar button, where it can be activated or deactivated. As you can see in the screenshot, none of the three filters is displayed.

I searched for "TotalQuickFilter", "tqf" and "TQF" in the error console. No entries there.

What do I do wrong?

This issue isn’t for MessagePreview, please open one in TotalQuickFilter issues.

But - the button part of the text filter menulist must be checked to show the selected/active buttons on the toolbar.
