New Features:

  • Adds an acknowledgement system to further improve reliability of multicast commands

Bug Fixes:

  • Resolves an issue where Mcast_TTL value of -1 was not handled well
  • Resolves an indexing issue that could occasionally create duplicate actions in scenes
  • Improves network performance when AMBR isn't present

Compatibility notes:

  • This release is compatible with devices running 5.0 or higher, but it is recommended that all devices are updated to this version

Release Date: 9/20/2015

New Features:

  • Dramatically improve comms in busy and large networks.
  • Multi casts and on changes can both be sent at the same time now.
  • Stability improvements.

Bug Fixes:

  • Fixes issues rare issue with devices occasionally needing a power cycle.
  • Previously it was possible that a multicast message could be dropped if it was taking too long, and an on change came down the pipe.

Compatibility notes:

  • This release is compatible with devices running 5.0 or higher

  • This release dramatically increases the stability and reliability of the wireless network, especially for large systems.
  • THIS IS CONSIDERED A CRITICAL UPDATE

New Features:

  • Multicast repeat through parents
  • This means that scenes that span whole sites will still get acted on
  • TTL in the data dictionary dictates number of hops.
  • TTL of 2, will repeat 1 time
  • Improved network stability

Bug Fixes:

  • Streamlined handshake communications to dramatically increase clear air time

Compatibility notes:

  • This release DOES NOT co-mingle with 3.0 code at all.
  • Previous version's scene structure will conflict.
