numbered PDF bookmark for 'part'
without the current redefinition of \thepart
in \pdfstringdefDisableCommands
in classicthesis.sty, parts would be numbered as lowercase roman (that's how they're being written to ClassicThesis.toc)
This seems to work \pdfstringdefDisableCommands{\def\thepart{\Roman{part}}}
, but I don't think it should be included in classicthesis.sty because the PDF outline looks better without it. Those who need it, can add this command to their preamble.

@PhilipPirrip : I posted the link above. However, the (I am guessing your) answer (adding
\pdfstringdefDisableCommands{\def\thepart{\Roman{part}}}
) does not seem to work for my MWE (at least on my computer). Anyway, think about adding the option to the docs, e.g. as a comment in classicthesis-config, if something works. Thanks for your help and picking this up in here. -
reporter Sorry, I only tested it with
classicthesis.sty
from this branch https://bitbucket.org/amiede/classicthesis/src/d41b5e123ab2d723ce660e2a11229fc9cceac272/?at=MayPI and things there have changed considerably. Please give it a try. -
I did and it works. Thanks.
