External tikz computation

Hello :)

some theses may comprise a lot of heavy-compiling tikz/pgf plots generated e.g., via matlab2tikz. For these cases, it is beneficial to compute tikz/pgf externally, i.e.: \usepackage{pgfplots} \usetikzlibrary{external} \tikzexternalize[mode=list and make, prefix=ext-tikz/]

would it be possible to include this snippet in the config within the next (major) release?

Fixed #135 and #136, but still some testing to do. Update versions and do clean-up for release.
