Editting classicthesis.sty does not change output

Issue #39 wontfix
Former user created an issue

``` Hi guys!
I'm using ClassicThesis 3.1 Beta for Lyx, I'm trying to adapt the page layout for Palatino 12pt font. I edit line 235 of the classicthesis.sty file (with \areaset command) and the changes are never reflected in the output. The same applies to line 179 where a \linespread{1.05} is set.
I'm on Windows XP 32bit, I use Miktex Portable 2.9 and Lyx 2.0.1 ```
    ``` Please use this system only for defects, not general questions.

    Line 235 is for MinionPro fonts only.

    Change areaset and linespread in classicthesis-config.tex (at the very end of the file

    > examples).

    ``` I bet you have two classicthesis.sty files. One is in what you downloaded from here, and the other one is what MikTeX automatically downloaded for you. Of course, it then uses the other file.
    Check here: C:\Program Files\MiKTeX 2.9\tex\latex\classicthesis
    and here http://code.google.com/p/classicthesis/issues/detail?id=30&can=1 ```
    ``` First of all, I am sorry for abusing this system, I honestly thought it was something wrong in the .sty file. Ivo was right - the same set of files worked on another computer with TexLive without any changes to classicthesis-config.tex file. So it is a fault with MikTex not picking up the correct settings, since in TexLive I also have classicthesis installed, and it does not clash with the LyX version. ```

    ``` That's why changed back to a classicthesis-config.tex in v3.1, better make only changes there :-)
    All the best for your thesis, please consider sending a postcard. ```
