Inconsistent chapter title spacing with unnumbered chapters like bibliography etc.
Issue #47
open
The vertical position of the rule and text for unnumbered chapters like the Bibliography
etc. does not correspond to the position of numbered chapters.
This is not exactly a bug, per-se, but a slight typographic inconsistency . This might
be a "won't fix", but I thought it should at least be documented as such if this is
the desired behaviour.

repo owner ``` Very good point, thanks a lot.
The latest version of the titlesec package (v2.10, p. 9) seems to offer the means for a solutions: ftp://tug.ctan.org/pub/tex-archive/macros/latex/contrib/titlesec/titlesec.pdf ```

First of all, I really appreciate the work you have done in putting this together. I look forward to using it for my personal thesis next year. I think one solution to this issue would be to "hang" the TOC section numbers of the first hierarchy level into the margin. Everything in the margin becomes right-aligned. Hanging punctuation/bullets is used frequently in the publishing industry. I would argue that the default bullets/enumerates for the style should also follow this practice. Notice that the lists/TOC use hanging indentation in "The Elements of Typographic Style".

``` This was with version 4.0 (but affects earlier versions too) and a similar issue affects chapters in the book example where the depth of the chapter number affects the position of the rules and text. ```
