Table which run into many pages

1. I am following the classicthesis v4.0 on windows7 without tweaking anything.
2. The smaller tables look perfect, but I have to make a table which runs into many
pages...
3. It is not showing correctly. The whole page fills up until the last bit of space
on the page, and the information that does not fit on the page gets lost... :(

I would have liked to be able to make a table which breaks at the bottom page margin
and continues from the next page. Please include this possibility in the code, and
also include an example in the main dummy text, so that other novices who have to put
very large tables in their theses, don't run into the wall I have just run into...
