Italic "et al." in classicthesis

How can I have the "et al." in italic mode when I use \citeauthor?

    This has nothing to do with classicthesis style. Please google for "et al italics bibtex".
    One possible solution: http://tex.stackexchange.com/questions/15730/using-natbib-and-plainnat-no-year-appears-to-some-references-and-also-et-al-n
