Last entry of List of Figures is moved to next page if exceeds certain amount of entries

Former user created an issue
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Create a new document using the example file provided with the zip
2. Add dummy figures, so that in total 21 figures are containe in the document. See
attached example document.
3. Compile

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
The last entry of the List of Figures is moved to the next page. The entry should remain
on the first page and only the Acronyms chapter should be moved to the next page. 

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Mac OSX 10.6 & TexLive & Classic Thesis 4.1

Please provide any additional information below.
To toggle the bug, remove comments of the figure in chapter 8.

I think this effect is caused by the begingroup environment. If I add a \strut between
the List of Figures and List of Tables, the 21st Figure will remain on page one.

    I am wrong. The issue is not caused by the use of the \begingroup command. Instead,
    I was able to remove the effect by changing the \vspace* to \vspace within the FrontBackmatter/Contents.tex
    file.
