biblatex/biber citestyle

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. make a simple document with referencing through biber/biblatex (see mwe)

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
the expected output is the citation style produce by the class option nature, however
it does a generic numeric citestyle with square brackets

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
i'm using the 2012 version, not sure which one that is, using it on Ubuntu 14.04LTS

Please provide any additional information below.
i've attached a MWE so the problem would be surely noticeable and is not being interfered
by other used packages.
