Biblography counter

I have wrote my thesis in LyX and it's looks amazing :)

but the bibliography start counting from the list of figures, as a result when you
read ch 1 you will find that the first reference is starting with other number like
[28] in my case.

I have tried to move the list of figures and tables to the end of my thesis but it
give the same result> Ref. numbering start from the list of figs and tables

Is there any way to make the reference numbering start from ch 1.
