Roundcube login failed

Just installed poste.io free version, created an email address and I can't seem to login to roundcube. (admin@domain.com doesn't work either). I can however login to administration with the user and password I set.

Also when I create a new email account it says; Success; Your password: " without showing the actual password after the ":".

I did some researching and it looks like there is no user record being added in the Roundcube users table? Normally roundcube auto_create_user variable should be on by default, but it is supposedly turned off as there is no users being created which returns the "Login failed" message. Not sure if this is intentional?
