This would be very helpful for thinning out accounts of people who no longer work at companies, and finding inactive accounts.

Agreed. Can easily be added to account db and updated at pop3 or imap authentication… perhaps even smtp authentication for those who might be forwarding email to a different email but using this address to send emails from.

“Last Authentication” maybe - some accounts don't send email, some don't receive email. Any authentication POP/IMAP/SMTP would catch it then.
