Subaddressing delimiter

The default subaddressing delimiter is '+'.

Many services deny '+' in email adresses, which prevents subaddressing from being used. In most cases one would simply change the delimiter sign to be e.g. '-'. How is this possible? There is no UI setting ( as far as I can see ). I think a UI setting would be useful although I'd also like to know, how I could change this setting in the meantime.

Plus sign is perfectly valid email character, if service deny tag then it is not problem with poste but service. Closing for now, because delimiter is hardcoded and changing this would require tremendous amount of work and most likely it would introduce new bugs. In short it would not be worth
