Set up on multiple instances?

Is it possible to run this in such a way I have multiple connected hosts? I have currently 3 running GCP engines, so it would be nice if they are all running a mailserver.

For instance I would have poste running on my server here at home and on an EC2 instance.

My home home server is faster and more reliable than the EC2 server but it is also more susceptible to go down (with a power-out for instance), so I keep the EC2 (cheap but slow) running in the background to make sure all email is collected.

I see. There are couple problems with this setup and running two full featured mailservers is not entirely possible. In future there will be container with backup mailserver which will do delivery only - but not now.
